LogiLink: Transforming Logistics through Digitization

CIO VendorPadmanabhan Babu, Co-founder & MD
In warehouses, on roads, and in corporate offices, technology is evolving every facet of logistics. From streamlining operations and increasing process efficiency to fully automating delivery vehicles, technology is enabling much smarter and simpler supply chain management. It is facilitating businesses to enhance supply chains with real-time visibility into insights and details needed to operate quickly, accurately, and more effectively than ever before. LogiLink, an India-based company excels in this area with the vision to be the ‘Knowledge Partner of choice’ in developing, designing, and delivering world class supply chain solutions. Operating under the brand name LEX, LogiLink India allows its clients to drive the digital transformation of their supply chain operations in a customer-centric manner. As a logistics solutions company, LogiLink creates, implements, and manages the clients’ supply chain operations using their in-house technology.

LogiLink’s proprietary cloud based, device and technology agnostic platform “LEXVYU” drives Location Based Intelligence. LEXVYU enables customers to make intelligent decisions through its unique features such as managing supply chain in real time, responding to changing needs, managing performance, productivity, costs, and reducing risk arising out of unpredictability.
It acts like a mother ship where all the data goes in that can integrate with multiple vendors and mobile applications collecting, analyzing, and delivering predictive solutions through Location Intelligence.

“Our technology suite integrates with customers’ ERP systems, endowing them a competitive edge over other vendors,” asserts Padmanabhan Babu, Co-founder and MD, LogiLink. Additionally, the firm has developed visibility tools such as mobile application and cloud based apps to digitize the clients’ ecosystem. In one of their associations in the food and beverage industry, the firm manages the entire delivery operations integrating digital information besides managing logistics. This digital information helps the organization better manage the assets in deployment and also helps them to meet their end customer expectations through transparency and real time visibility. LogiLink has aptly named their service offering - Integrated Digital Logistics (IDL).

Over the years, LogiLink has assisted customers who have experienced drop in their revenue due to redundancy in the supply chain process and other operational issues. The firm implements real-time dashboards to address these pain points, enabling the customer to “act” on critical issues and plan for tomorrow based on “real data”. Relevant real information enables the clients to improve “end user experience”, optimize cost, and manage risk in real time. Padmanabhan adds, “The core solution is focused on agility, flexibility, and scalability so that the customers do not have to undertake different technologies and tracking devices.” LogiLink strongly believes in improving their solutions continually, and Padmanabhan mentions that the coming years would witness LogiLink innovating and re-inventing themselves and delivering sustainable supply chains. “The supply chain landscape is driven by constant technological advancements and disruptions, by bringing in visibility, flexibility, and scalability into our clients’ supply chain, we plan to be on the forefront of this change,” adds Padmanabhan.

Moving forward, the firm also intends to expand to more locations in the US and Europe. With two decades of supply chain experience and an extensive exposure across geographies, industries, and functions in the supply chain domain, Padmanabhan believes that the future will witness increasing digitization driving the supply chain landscape. He is of the opinion that people from the industry will drive technology rather than technology driving solutions for logistics and that is where LogiLink wants to be to drive the technology for the industry and manage this supply chain revolution using technology.
